School Climate Grants

School Climate Transformation Grant (SCTG) supports local educational agencies in their efforts to develop, enhance, or expand systems of support for, and technical assistance to, schools implementing an evidence-based multi-tiered behavioral framework for improving behavioral outcomes and learning conditions for all students. Elementary and Secondary School Counseling (ESSC) establishes or expands elementary and secondary school counseling programs, with special consideration given to applicants that can (a) demonstrate the greatest need for counseling services in the schools to be served; (b) propose the most innovative and promising approaches; and (c) contribute to the personal growth, educational development, and the social-emotional well-being of students. Project Prevent (PP) funding increases school district’s capacity to help schools in communities with pervasive violence to better address the needs of affected students and to break the cycle of violence in those communities. School Violence Prevention Program (SVPP) grants seek to improve security at schools and on school grounds in the jurisdiction of the grantee through evidence-based school safety programs.
