TEG was founded in 1988 with a purpose of Creating Opportunities to Improve Lives. Since then, TEG has positively impacted the lives of many through its monetary donations, hands-on community service activities, and in-kind donations of goods and services.
American Red Cross
The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors – from providing relief and support to those in crisis, to helping people be prepared to respond in emergencies. Our team members participate in blood drives to help save lives.
Atlanta Community Food Bank
The mission of the Atlanta Community Food Bank is to fight hunger by engaging, educating and empowering our community. As a member of Feeding America, they distribute over 60 million meals annually to more than 755,000 people in 29 counties across Atlanta. Our team members donate items and help sort food for the hungry.
Harvest Hope Food Bank
Since 1981, Harvest Hope Food Bank has provided for the needs of hungry people by gathering and sharing quality food with dignity, compassion and education. Since 1988, Adopt-A-Highway volunteers have been cleaning up litter along South Carolina highways, which aligns with the PalmettoPride mission of eradicating litter and promoting beautification in our great state. Our team members participate in clean-up events to make our community a cleaner place.
Since 1999, Pawmetto Lifeline has served as an animal rescue organization, located in Columbia, South Carolina with the mission of establishing a no-kill community in the Midlands, meaning no healthy, adoptable dog or cat dies because it is homeless. Our team members donate time, money, and goods for the pet shelter.
Established in 1991, PETSinc is a no-kill animal rescue organization primarily serving the Midlands of South Carolina. They place over 3,200 animals into adoption or temporary foster homes each year resulting in nearly 80,000 success stories since they were founded. Our team members participate in pet supply drives for the pet shelter.
Each year, the Salvation Army Angel Tree gives individuals and partnering corporations an opportunity to adopt less fortunate children and provide them with gifts and necessities to those who would otherwise receive very little or nothing during the holiday season. Our team members help sort and pack toys and clothes for the Angel Tree.
The Family Effect
The Family Effect works to reduce addiction as a leading cause of family collapse and harm to children in South Carolina through programs like Serenity Place - a comprehensive, residential treatment for about 120 pregnant women, young mothers and children each year. Our team hosted a holiday cookie and craft party for the families.
