As President and Owner of The Evaluation Group, Stephanie leads our dynamic team of evaluation and grant professionals. She has over 20 years of experience in grant management and program evaluation with a focus on education and health and human services. She is passionate about helping partners use data for continuous improvement to ensure program impact and long-term success.
Stephanie earned a Master of Business Administration from Florida State University, Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina, and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Women Studies from Emory University.

Ginny specializes in building partner relationships and aligning services specific to individual partner needs. Ginny has over 15 years of experience in grants management, evaluation, and education. Ginny specializes in programs focused on ages birth—20 in the field of STEM, Early Childhood, Innovation, Technology, Health, and Teacher Professional Development.
Ginny graduated from Meredith College with a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and teaching licensures in B-K and K-6 education. She obtained a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina and is a Licensed Master Social Worker.

Kristin has over 15 years of experience in the grants management field including school districts, large nonprofit organizations, and institutions of higher education. She specializes in programs focused on Literacy, Innovation, Teacher Professional Development, College and Career Readiness, and Social-Emotional Learning. Kristin provides technical assistance and budget oversight for grant partners to ensure compliance with federal rules, regulations, and requirements.
Kristin graduated cum laude from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina.

Dee has over 20 years of experience in grant project management including time spent as a project director for state and federal-level grant programs. Her expertise lies in providing ongoing consultation, budget planning and management, meeting facilitation, sustainability planning, and problem-solving for a wide range of grant programs including: Literacy, Technology/STEM, School Climate and Social-Emotional Interventions, GEAR-UP, and Health/Mental Health programs.
Dee earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Political Science from Francis Marion University.

Christy has worked in the field of evaluation since 2000 and with TEG for over 10 years. She leads a cross-functional team of evaluators and serves as lead evaluator on a number of evaluation projects. Christy specializes in evaluations focused on magnet schools, teacher and school leader development, STEM, and postsecondary preparation.
Christy holds a BS in Psychology from Appalachian State University and a Master of Public Health from the University of South Carolina with specialization in Health Care Administration.

Melissa leads a cross-functional team of evaluators and serves as lead evaluator on a number of evaluation projects. With over 20 years of experience, she specializes in teacher professional development, engaging youth in STEM activities, NSF, and partnerships of teachers and graduate students in K-12 classrooms.
Melissa graduated Summa Cum Laude from Grand Canyon University with a BS in Corporate Fitness and Wellness and Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a Master of Public Health. She earned a PhD from the University of Arizona in Family Studies and Human Development with an applied program planning and evaluation minor.

Kathy has over 20 years of experience designing, conducting, and managing partner-focused, participatory evaluations in education and human services. Her evaluation experiences include educational evaluations with a focus on STEM, socio-emotional strategies, youth career development, and college attainment.
Kathy earned a PhD in Policy Sciences with a concentration on Program Evaluation from the University of Maryland, a MA in Clinical Psychology from Loyola College, and a BS in Psychology from University of Maryland.

Cathi has over 20 years of research and evaluation experience, specializing in the fields of education, substance abuse treatment, and mental health interventions. She designs multi-level, multi-method research studies to determine the validity of outcomes based on evidence-based programs and practices.
Cathi earned a PhD in Educational Psychology and Research from the University of South Carolina, an MA in Psychology with an emphasis on statistical analyses and research methodology from the University of Akron and a BS in Psychology from Michigan State University.

Lisa has over 15 years of research and evaluation experience, specializing in social and emotional learning, school climate, STEM initiatives, and K-12 education.
Lisa graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University at Albany, State University of New York. She earned a MA in Developmental Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, and a PhD in Learning, Technology, and Culture (i.e., Educational Psychology) from Michigan State University.

A former nonprofit leader and internal evaluator, Callie has more than 10 years of experience designing, managing, and evaluating programs. She specializes in arts integration, STEM/computer science education, and positive youth development.
Callie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in religious studies and music. She earned a master’s degree in urban studies from Eastern University with a concentration in community arts, and she holds a graduate certification in program evaluation from Michigan State University.

Angie earned a PhD and MS in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, an MA in Church Ministries from Pentecostal Theological Seminary, and a BS in Biology from Lee University.

Shalon earned a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice with High Honors from South University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Human Services Counseling from Old Dominion University.

Cathy has over 20 years of experience grant writing, program management, coalition building, and training and technical assistance with a specialization in health and human service and related nonprofit organizations. She specializes in community-based approaches that include customized collaborations to address the unique needs of each community.
Cathy is a magna cum laude graduate of Lake Superior State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Health Sciences from Independence University.

Megan comes to The Evaluation Group from the nonprofit sector where she championed health and human service grants to help local communities thrive. She brings over ten years of professional writing and editing experience in the publishing and corporate fields and has worked with partners across the globe.
Megan earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing with Distinguished Achievement in the Humanities from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from University of California, Santa Cruz.

Leigh Anna has over ten years of experience in the grants management field. Katie has worked with The Evaluation Group in various capacities since 2008, when she joined the company as technical writer/ assistant to founder Mike DuBose. She has over 14 years of experience in the field of communications, including researching, writing, and editing, which she applies to assist grant partners in developing effective internal and external communications. As the daughter of a public school teacher, Katie is passionate about supporting partners as they strive to improve educational outcomes for students and communities.
Katie graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina Honors College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Print Journalism and a minor in Political Science.

Julie has over 20 years of experience in the grant development and management field. She has created over 100 grant proposals and secured over $163 million in grant awards focused on education-based initiatives and other human service fields in key area such as school climate, social-emotional learning, STEM, literacy, school dropout prevention, teacher effectiveness, postsecondary readiness, and literacy. She is skilled in providing ongoing technical assistance using a team approach to assess client needs and ensure grant programs are on track for future success.
Julie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with Bachelor of Science with Honors in Psychology and the University of South Carolina with a Master of Social Work and Master of Public Administration degrees.

Chris has over 15 years of experience in finance and business management. He develops and implements systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information, establishes internal controls, ensures legal and regulatory requirements are followed, and recommends improvements for business procedures.
Chris graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and earned a Master of Business Administration from the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.

Mike founded TEG in 1985 and is owner of several other successful businesses all of which are driven by the purpose of creating opportunities to improve lives. Mike is passionate about helping other entrepreneurs and small business owners succeed, working with his church, and assisting local charities.
Mike graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master in Social Work.
Team Time
Our team values positivity, teamwork, integrity, excellence, initiative, growth, and FUN! As part of our strategic goal to foster a positive and caring work environment, we created Team Time, held virtually each month, where we complete volunteer activities, practice health and wellness together, share our hobbies, and grow our interests. Team Time includes fun activities such as card making, team walks, yoga, baking, painting, candle making, crafting, escape rooms, costume parties, and service projects.
